Well, I've been trying to write a decent chord pattern for a song that I'm trying so desperately to finish. I finally found a chord pattern that sounded nice:
G D Em C
I played it and it sounded great! But then, I realized something. If I strum differently, it sounds identical to this song:

So I guess I need a new pattern... Oh well, back to the drawing board =/
SPUD HELP ME FIND ANOTHER CHORD PATTERN!!

Yeah. It's hard to come up with somthing that doesn't sound like anything else. I tryed to write a song (with chords) and came up with 'dont stop beleiving' in G. Oh well :)

Somebody told me today at church that I should start with the melody and find the chords from that, kinda the opposite of what I was doing =P
Hmmm...as you know i slurp at coming up with cords. Partly cuz i'm not good at playing them.
I agree with this person. Find the Melodie!
